The Hong Kong chapter was formed in March 2003 and officially launched in July. We have a  growing membership of people from many different backgrounds. The club is run on a non profit basis through committees comprising of elected members. Elections take place annually in June.

Applying for Membership

If you are interested in a membership of LYC Hong Kong, we would like to personally meet you first, either at a Bar / Club night on the last Friday of any month, OR by another appointment day and time.

Membership Benefits

The following are some of the benefits which members may enjoy.

• Reduced rates for participation in social activities in Hong Kong
• Introductions to other members in Hong Kong.
• Introduction to overseas Long Yang Clubs and their members.
• Regular emails detailing events and activities of the group.

As the group continues to grow we hope to be able to offer more benefits to our members.

Security

You may omit information from any part of the membership form which you do not wish to disclose. However, if you do not give contact information you will have to ensure that you regularly keep in touch with committee members to update yourself with current activities. All personal details of members are kept on a secured database and are not available to anyone outside the LYC committee. Your name/contact details will never be leased, sold, rented, given away, or shared with anyone outside the Hong Kong LYC Committee.  For additional security emails sent to you from LYC Hong Kong will not display your email address to others.

Subscriptions

The annual membership fees are currently as follows:

• Singles:  HK$250.00 per year.
• Couples: HK$400.00 per year.
• Student / Unemployed: HK$100.00 per year

The volunteer committee is always keen to help arrange anything anyone would like to do, and with our finances healthy, it is possible to subsidies events within reason.
