Bamboo-Adelaide is a non-profit club, established to promote friendship between males 18 years and over of Eastern and Western origin, through social, cultural, sporting and educational events, and to offer mutual help and support.

Our social activities include picnics, bush walking, BBQ's, beach parties, members' house parties, restaurant outings, sporting activities, karaoke nights, etc. Most of our activities are very casual and are held in non-scene environments.

Asians and Friends Atlanta, LYC Inc., formerly known as Asian Express Atlanta, proudly joined the LYC Global Village in 2007.  Our organization has been active since the late 80"s.  Each year, Asians and Friends Atlanta, LYC Inc. holds 15 or more social events.  And, the group has community spirit.  An estimated $10,000 has been donated to charitable organizations on behalf of Asians and Friends Atlanta since 1994.  Check out our website, and plan to participate in an Asians and Friends Atlanta event the next time you are in the beautiful city of Atlanta.

The new Auckland chapter of Long Yang Club has reinvigorated to become one of the most active LYC chapters in the region. They have a sparklingly beautiful website, and the group offers a selection of events including picnics potluck parties at members' homes, picnics and minibus adventures , barbecues, Vintage Train rides, restaurant outings. One of their aims of promoting inter-membership atmosphere has worked very, very well.

LYC Berlin is a non-commercial organization and its goal is to promote friendship and understanding among Asian Gays and people of other nationalities through social and cultural events in Berlin. It provides information to interested people, groups and organizations. It organizes get-togethers, cultural and educational trips, mutual help and support, telephone help lines, as well as publishing articles in magazines. This first LYC chapter in the seat of the European Union was started on December 14, 2003.  The founders of LYC Brussels are some gay "east-west" couples.  It holds regular potluck theme parties either at homes of members or at the Rainbow House, which is the gay and lesbian center in Brussels.

LYC Budapest in Hungary, the first in Central Europe, was formed in 2008 and aims to provide programs (on every other Saturday) and a social network for Asian and Caucasian LGBT people in Hungary, helping them in making contacts in a friendly atmosphere. They offer support to visitors and people recently arrived in Hungary, to enable cross-cultural understanding between East and West.

The group has just recently been formed. This LYC chapter's membership includes the Denver-Metro area as well as Boulder, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Greeley and Pueblo. They are a friendly eclectic group spanning many cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Its events include sumptuous potluck parties, rap groups, and movie evenings.
