[hide calendar]Join us the third Saturday of every month (EXCEPT THIS JULY), from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, for drinks and desserts at Babycakes [3766 5th Ave], across the street from Rite Aid. They have drinks and baked goods. Bring your favorite board game or card game or just come for the conversation. This relaxed and friendly gathering is one way to meet our members and find out more about the club.
New recurring event: Bi-weekly Thursday Night Social at Ted's home in Hillcrest. Come to relax and enjoy the evening amongst friends. Those gathered will decide what they wish to do for the evening: coffee/drinks, dinner, movie, clubbing...the possibilities are limitless! Everyone can also freely discuss his interests and hobbies, which may generate ideas for future club events.

| Details: | Another summer pool party and potluck at Philip's home on the eastern edge of Balboa
Park. Bring a dish to share with
6 other people. We need all kinds of dishes: main courses, appetizers, salads, sides, and
desserts. As always the club will provide beverages. We'll also have membership forms for
everyone to renew his membership or join the club for the first time. We are looking for club members who can volunteer their homes for future potlucks.
NOTE: Out of consideration for Philip's neighbors, please park on 28th St, which is one block west of Granada Ave. |

| Details: | Celebrate Pride with us! We will be welcoming all members and guests at Ted's strategically located condo near the parade route. After enjoying the parade, come by to share some refreshments, meet old friends, and make some new ones. No need to bring anything, the club will provide light snacks plus hard and soft drinks.
