The Long Yang Club of Vancouver is a volunteer operated non-profit organization which promotes friendship and provides social activities and support for gay Asian men, their partners and their friends.

We also endeavour to provide moral support to young gay Asians who have just come out or are struggling with their identity, and to present a positive image of gay Asians to the Vancouver gay community.

Mission Statement
Long Yang Club of Vancouver is part of a global network of Clubs, whose goal is to foster friendship between gay men of Asian and non-Asian ancestry.

Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive social environment of mutual respect, acceptance and friendship. We welcome members of all races, cultures and backgrounds.

Our Goals
1)to promote the gay pride in Asian and Western cultures;

2)to present a positive image of gay Asians and their friends;

3)to develop respect and friendship among our members;

4)to provide information and education in areas of interest to our members.

Our Objectives
1)To increase the awareness of gay Asian and non-Asian issues;

2)To increase the visibility and understanding of and respect for gay Asians and to present a positive image of gay Asians within the gay community.

3)To provide support to young gay Asians who have just come out or are struggling with their identity.
