Becoming a member of the Long Yang Club is easy! All you need to do is print out and complete the membership form, then return it to our office with your membership dues. All information you provide on the form is kept strictly confidential, and you get to tell us how you would like to be listed (if at all) in our Membership Directory. TOP

Membership in LYC is open to all races, religions, and sexes. In fact, anyone interested in LYC's mission is invited to join. Members must be over the age of 18. All member information is kept in strict confidence. Each member decides how to be listed in the Membership Directory.

Benefits of membership include the Member Directory, discounts to social events, networking, friendships, education, our newsletter, and discounts at area establishments.

The Long Yang Club is the fastest-growing international social group for gay Asians and people of all other races interested in the East. We organize a wide range of events including parties, coffee socials, potlucks, visits to restaurants, cinema nights, concerts, and special quarterly events. There is always something to suit each member's tastes.

Internationally, LYC has members around the world with chapters in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, England, France, Germany, Holland, Australia, Canada, and all across the United States, to name a few. We are growing to cover the globe and we're adding new chapters monthly.

The club's name is Chinese. It belongs to a gay warlord mentioned in the classic novel, A Dream of Red Mansions. TOP

Our Mission Statement

Long Yang Club of Seattle's (LYC-Seattle's) mission is to represent, serve, and promote the gay Asian community of Seattle and the mutual interests of you, our membership. The primary focus of your organization is to develop and coordinate events, socials, and educational classes, seminars that enhance the well-being of both the gay Asian community as a whole and its members individually.
