My goal is to set a regular Saturday or Sunday of the month at noon time (11:30 AM
to 1:30 PM) to greet and meet members and friends at a local Asian restaurant hosted by our member.

Local Dining
We have set a goal at the beginning to take advantage of
the rare opportunity of supporting the best authentic Asian foods.
We have passed over most touristy ones. And we hesitate on
a few.
This is the best so far, personally selected by our members.

We've
been here since April 5, 2003. This is a family run business. The new cook was
the master chef of Thai Kitchen. She doesn't speak English well. But the owner/waiter
Kun Art is a Thai Chinese from New York who has been to all over Asia. He is very gay friendly and chatty.
He welcomes us with open arms right from the beginning.
The restaurant is a surprise discovery for its authentic food despite its
simple cozy deli setting. It's used to be a Filipino restaurant, now it's the source for the most authentic Thai food.
Of course, it still
serves the American favorites. I love the Thai ice tea.
