LYC - Adelaide's Goals

Our mission is to:

• provide a social club for persons 18 years and over, by promoting friendship between gay people of Eastern and Western origin, through social, cultural, sporting and educational events; and
• offer help and support to our members.

LYC-Adelaide became an incorporated association in 1999.

What We Do

LYC is a social club. We are a group of people who foster friendship, enjoy social outings together, in a friendly and non-threatenting environment. We respect the individuality of our members.

*** LYC holds a regular get-together most Sundays in the private clubrooms of a suburban chinese restaurant. Our members meet and dine there in the private room from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
We also have monthly Karaoke evenings, along with a wide variety of social activities. All details can be obtained by contacting our club.
Our social functions, include house parties, BBQ's, Ten Pin Bowling, Ice Skating etc. But always the East-West theme is paramount.We are an asians and their friends social/support club.

iCON 2004, LYC's international conference, at last to be in Asia, November, in BANGKOK!!

The iCON 2004 web site is now up for all to see. It informs us all of the fabulous plans Long Yang Club Thailand has in store for us in 'The Land of Smiles'.
