The
Adelaide chapter of Long Yang Club is a vibrant
and friendly Asian/non-Asian social club. They
meet every Sunday at "AGF" Restaurant
function room at 580 Port Road, Allenby Gdns.,
there’s also a Karaoke every first Sunday of
the Month, monthly social event e.g. potluck
party at one of the members' homes, restaurant
evening, plus bus tours and badminton events.
The club magazine is ‘Lychee.’

The
new Auckland chapter of Long Yang Club has
reinvigorated to become one of the most active
LYC chapters in the region. They have a sparklingly
beautiful website, and the group offers a
selection of events including picnics potluck
parties at members' homes, picnics and minibus
adventures , barbecues, Vintage Train rides,
restaurant outings. One of their aims of
promoting inter-membership atmosphere has worked
very, very well.

LYC Berlin is a non-commercial organization and its goal
is to promote friendship and understanding among Asian
Gays and people of other nationalities through social
and cultural events in Berlin. It provides information
to interested people, groups and organizations. It
organizes get-togethers, cultural and educational trips,
mutual help and support, telephone help lines, as well as

Boston
has a thriving gay Asian male and non-Asian
male community. Long Yang Club-Boston (LYC-Boston)
began in 1996 and is where gay Asian men and
their friends are invited to form friendships,
receive and provide support and to socialize
in an atmosphere of respect and mutual admiration.
Our membership is made up of all ages, younger
and older, single and couples. Theirmonthly
activities are enjoyed by all our members. These
events often include movie nights, pot luck
dinners, restaurant visits, club nights as well
as other fun activities. There is something
for everyone. LYC-Boston members get special
discounts to these events.

The
Brisbane Chapter of The Long Yang Club had its
inaugural meeting on Monday, the First of November,
1999. It meets on the first Friday of each month
at Cafe Scene, McWhirters Building, Brunswick
Mall, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane at 7:30 p.m.
This is a Get Together of members to meet each
other and new guests who wish to join them or
are in town. Members host parties, picnics,
barbecues and socials. We dine out at least
once a month to enjoy the cuisines of Brisbane
and to celebrate the Asian calendar of important

LYC Canberra has been around since the 1990. Members
believe that they can offer a social atmosphere where
the principles of the international organization can be

the state. Most events are based either in Hartford
and New Haven. It introduces itself as a gay

LYC Holland which started in 1994, meets several times
each month in Amsterdam. Events and activities do take
place on a regular base, with three regular events : The
Monthly Gathering at Cafe "De Verdwenen Minnaar"
in Amsterdam (every 1st Sunday of the month), and The
East/West Disco at Discotheque The Cockring in Amsterdam
(every 3rd Sunday of the month). Additional, every time
when there is a 'fifth Sunday' in the month, we are
going for Dim Sum, held every time at a different

Honolulu is truly a city where East meets West.
Hawaii's population is about 70 per cent Asian
and 30 per cent "Haole" (Caucasian).
LYC Honolulu is a "non-scene" club
that seeks to attract people who are not into
the bar scene. It provides social activities
in a safe, non-competitive environment where
people can relax and interact with other gay
men in an enjoyable setting. There are enjoyable
events with monthly "Puupuu & Cocktails"
parties at a private residence as well as occasional
beach parties, a monthly "potluck movie
night" and theme events to celebrate Eastern
and Western holidays.
