New Zealand is a country which people believe in “doing
our bit”, playing our part to make things happen. By
becoming a member you play your part in making club events
happen. Your membership fees help to pay for the costs of
running the club. Also, you can have your say in how the club
works and what it does.
Members may contact other Long Yang Clubs overseas and attend
their activities as guests.

There are costs involved in running the club.
- advertising, providing the things we need at activities,
and general administration costs. We don’t charge people
for coming to our events. However when people become members
of the club, we ask them to pay a Membership Fee to cover
the costs of running the club.
The Membership Fee is $20 for each person for a year, or $2
per month till the end of the year, whichever is less. Students
pay $10 per year or $2 per month, whichever is less.
We don’t force people to become members if they don’t
want to, but we do ask that they buy a few raffle tickets
at each event to help pay for our costs.
If you are unsure about how much you need to pay, please
email
us.
Membership fees do not cover all our costs, so the club also
holds raffles at most of our events. We ask people to buy
tickets to help support us. We have some great prizes!
